With nearly 20 years of professional leadership experience, Maria has spent her career helping others discover their strengths and lead with confidence. She brings that same purpose-driven approach to children’s literature.
Maria is the author of The Secret Keeper series, beginning with The Secret Keeper: Perfect the Way You Are and followed by The Secret Keeper: Trust Your Intuition. Created to spark meaningful conversations between children and their trusted adults, the series gently explores important topics such as building confidence, navigating emotions, bullying, and recognizing when something doesn’t feel right. Through thoughtful storytelling and relatable lessons, the books encourage young readers to trust themselves, honor their feelings, and develop self-belief from an early age.
In addition to writing, Maria is an entrepreneur and the host of the podcast Afternoon Tea with Maria Jordan, where she leads conversations around leadership, growth, and empowerment. She is also actively involved in community initiatives that support women, families, and youth development.
